The product of the page numbers on two facing pages of a book is 272272. find the page numbers.

Let n be the first page, and n+1 be the second. Then:
n(n+1)=272
n²+n-272=0
(n+17)(n-16)=0
n=16 or -17
If the first page is page 16, then the next is page 17
